The purpose of this workbook is to provide exercises for supplemental readings for graduate-level students at the Faculty of Civil Engineering. The articles have been chosen because they represent contemporary topics in the fields of civil engineering and architecture as well as transportation and environmental engineering. They were also selected so that graduate students could become somwhat familiar with engineering issues outside of their respective specializations.
