The Adrenaline Man is Roger Burlington, a fellow whose adrenal glands are three times the normal size. When he is faced with danger, the adrenaline dump makes him stronger and faster than an average person. He discovers this when at a traffic light he suddenly leaps forward and saves a young woman from being hit by a speeding car. They become friends.
