Leaders in business often misunderstand the integral roleemotional intelligence plays in successfully leading organizationsto success. Studies exist providing data regarding what leaders arelike, what leaders do, and how leaders make decisions. However, fewstudies have explored the relationship between emotionalintelligence and effective leadership. Although there are numerousways effective leadership can be gauged, one sign of effectiveleadership can be seen in the way a leader chooses a leadershipstyle with which to lead a team.
