The images represented in this suite are based on the author's personal experiences while serving in Vietnam as Combat Artist. Some of the images depict what the author witnessed and experienced; others symbolize something he felt about a particular experience or collective experiences, events he could not simply and adequately express in a naturalistic (photographic) way.
