The author of the catalogue for the exhibition held from 7 Oct 2009 to 17 Jan 2010 at Prague Castles Riding School and from 3 March 2010 till 30 May 2010 at the East Bohemian Gallery of Fine Art in Pardubice is the exhibition curator and leading expert on Josef apeks art, PhDr. Pavla Peinkov. Thirteen chapters featuring one hundred twenty colour reproductions and photographs documenting the life of Josef apek and quotes from his writings stem from resulted from dividing the largest exhibition of Josef apeks oeuvre ever held into groups (Chapters: Prologue, The Parisian lesson, Under the sign of Cubism, Phantoms, Purity of form, Amazement, The Humblest Art, Closer to man, On childrens themes, Inspiration from Orava, Glorious transience, Fire and Desire, Making a living).
